VS Shridhar is the Chief Operating Officer for Tata Communications Transformation Services (TCTS). He began his career with Tata in 2000 when he joined Tata Internet Services as General Manager. In 2002, he became the Head of Corporate Business for Tata Communications (formerly VSNL).  Over the next three years he successfully created a new sales organization to address the Enterprise Business including a suite of products such as Leased Lines, Domestic VPNs, Managed Services, Internet Bandwidth and Data Center Services.

In 2004 Mr. Shridhar left VSNL to join TVS Electronics as Vice President (Broadband Solutions Unit) where he headed enterprise sales and created products for broadband such as IP Set Top Boxes, PC Components etc.

In late 2005, Mr. Shridhar re-joined VSNL as Corporate Vice President responsible for integrating Teleglobe into VSNL. He successfully led the Project Management Office that brought together multi-county, cross functional teams into one integrated organization.

Mr. Shridhar has also held management positions with Wipro Infotech and IBM.

Mr Shridhar received his degree in Mechanical Engineering from MS University and his management degree from XLRI Jamshedpur, specializing in both marketing and finance.
