As network architectures evolve, telecom equipment upgrades are becoming more frequent. Solution
To gain a comprehensive view of each structure, TCTS Infra Digitization leveraged existing documentation and tower configurations to capture dimensions of physical assets. The data points are processed using specialized software for quickly creating the 3D tower models.
Working side-by-side with TCTS, the company’s engineering team conducted simulations of the virtual replicas to analyze the structural integrity. The team could accurately predict the reliability and failure of towers under different equipment loads and weather conditions.
Results
With the digital versions of the entire tower fleet in place, the company now has a fast and cost effective way of verifying the infrastructure capabilities to host more equipment.
